On the evening of the 7th of April, the video ‘De Rondvaart: Genk’ was shown in 14 cafés all around Genk. In the video the artist slides with her kayak from a mountain built by mineworkers, to later be floating on the drinks representing different places and cultures in Genk. The 14 cafés are all part of the video, and the video was part of the cafés for that one evening. The documentation of this event was shown in the C-mine (Genk) during a group exhibition called ‘Extracted Realities'(see photo).
